While our course will take us around the island- our starting direction will be determined within 48 hours of the event to take best advantage of that days wind and tides. No matter our course direction we will all paddle Knapps Narrows, a highly traveled thruway from The Chesapeake to The Choptank River & home to one of the most frequently opened drawbridges in the United States. Choose the 5-mile 'Out & Back'** or the 'Full Circumnavigation' option-this event will stand up to the Chesapeake Bay reputation - offering a variety of conditions & challenges.
