Regarding the Tahoe Crossing paddle race, I received the following from the Tahoe Race organizer this morning.

"Thank you for your patience during these challenging times for our crew here at Watermans while we are navigating and monitoring the Mosquito Fire's forecasts for the upcoming weekend. We have been actively monitoring all safety aspects of the paddle course for the crossing including wind, air quality, and visibility along the 22 mile course. With extreme sadness, we are canceling the Tahoe Cup - Lake Crossing for 2022."
