The Suwannee River 230 starts at Griffis Fish Camp in Southern Georgia. At this point the Suwannee River resembles a creek as it drains from the Okefenokee Swamp. The river quickly takes shape and paddlers enjoy unspoiled wilderness as the waterway flows southward.
